H. Dönnhoff (Nahe) -- 2014 Part I: Dry Wines

There is no better way to learn about wine in general, and German wine in particular, than to spend time tasting with Helmut Dönnhoff. The maker of some of the world’s most admired white wines, he says he is officially retired as far as the German government is concerned (he was born in 1949), but not for any other purpose. Despite the difficult conditions in 2014, he once again has come through with a stellar collection of wines.
